Flexitank Handling

LBL handle both loading and discharge of flexitanks, we are located just one mile from Liverpool container port and have the experience to safely transfer a range of bulk liquids shipped via this relatively new method.

In November 2008 we handled the first UK flexitank fitted with a heating coil to facilitate the shipment of hard oils such as UCO/Palm etc. The flexitank was loaded in Chile and shipped to Liverpool by MSC, it was fitted with a small heating coil that connects to the steam outlet on site, the oil was swiftly transferred to storage tanks with little or no wastage ready for customer collection.
